Our Work at Height course provides candidates with the skill set required for the access and egress of communications tower and mast type structures, utilising both fall arrest and work positioning techniques. This course is designed to equip candidates with the skills to properly assess risks involved with working at height which will enable them to select and use the appropriate equipment.

Course Content:
- Legislative requirements
- Risks associated with working at height
- Best practice for work at height
- Planning work - safe systems of work
- Selection, inspection and storing of PPE/PFPE
- Correct fitting and use of equipment
- Safe use of various fall protection systems including work restraint, work positioning , fall arrest, inertia reel
- Suspension trauma management
- Practical training on our 22 meter high training tower under close supervision and guidance of our experienced Instructors
- On successful completion of this course the candidate will have the knowledge and skills to work at height safely
Assessment of Course:
Candidates will be assessed through both observation of practical skills and a written assessment. Upon successful completion of the course a certificate will be provided to the candidate and will be valid for three years
Delegate Requirements:
Courses are of a strenuous nature; therefore a good level of fitness is advised and delegates must be medically fit. Candidates attending this course must have a good understanding of verbal and written English language. We can accommodate any delegate with special needs providing we are advised at time of booking.
