There is a strong focus on health and safety throughout 3sun Group, we identify hazards as early as the enquiry stage and follow these through to project close out with feedback into our lessons learned register. We have high standards of health and safety management which are promoted and integrated as an integral part of the business. Through our risk management processes, we aim to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our employees, our clients and everyone affected by our work activities.

BS EN ISO 9001:2008

The management system employs the process approach to our procedures, making them clear and easy to follow ensuring that our activities are controlled, communicated and compliments BS EN ISO 9001. As a company we are committed to providing products and services which meet or surpass our customer’s expectations, standards and legislative requirements. There is a significant focus on the continual improvement process improving all aspects of the company’s management systems, software systems and communication internally and with our customers.

Environmental

3sun Group are committed to control activities which affect the environment, assessing and reviewing our work activities ensuring they meet the requirements of our management system, statutory and the expectations of our customers. We are acutely aware of the ever increasing demand for us all to reduce the impact we have on the environment and the importance of sustainable development. Through our understanding of the aspects and impacts of our operations, we aim to minimise the negative and maximise the positive environmental impacts.

Industrial Rope Access Trade Association

IRATA

3sun Group conduct rope access operations utilising IRATA trained personnel under the IRATA code of practice and our own management systems.

Lifting Equipment Engineers Association

LEEA

LEEA is established around the world as the leading representative body for the lifting industry. With the Group’s recent acquisition of a sling press (allowing in-house manufacturing of wire rope slings), this membership will support the Group’s development of its lifting capabilities.

Achilles (UVDB & FPAL)

3sun Group companies are members of Achilles, a supply chain and procurement verification organisation and are FPAL Verified (Oil & Gas sector) and UVDB Verified (Renewables sector). Customers are encouraged to use these systems to feedback and score our product or service delivery, this is logged on the Achilles system allowing customers to see how we rate historically against similar workscopes, industries or locations. We are independently audited annually by Achilles so our customers can be sure that our scores are accurate and up to date. Our onsite assessments score us consistently high in our management system and in the areas of Quality, Health & Safety, Environment and Competence/Training.

Engineering Construction Industry Training Board

ECITB

3sun Group are an approved provider of ECITB training courses. We are audited yearly and excelled in our most recent visit, showing our dedication to supplying high-quality training courses, recognised by the energy, engineering and construction industries.

East of England Energy Group

EEEGR

EEEGR is the industry association for energy in the East of England. It represents over 400 members across the energy supply chain and we are proud of their origins in the East, a region which remains a core market for 3sun Group.

RenewableUK

RenewableUK is the UK's leading not-for-profit renewable energy trade association. It acts as a central point of information and a representative voice for its members. 3sun Group are members of the association’s Skills and Employment Strategy Group (SESG) and their Training Review Panel.
