Challenge
A client required a full technical and health and safety training program for a limited budget and as per the very strict requirements on Government funding. The aim is to enable unemployed and ex-military personnel to be retrained in a specific program of courses that would enable them to get into the Oil & Gas and the Renewable Energy industry.
Solution
Part of 3sun Group, the 3sun Academy was able to draw on the great experience the Group has within the energy industry.
3sun Academy designed a bespoke 16 day program, that included 12 courses suited to the Energy industry, and that would give the candidates the most chance of gaining jobs. The course also helped in assessing candidates CV’s to make sure that they were capable of meeting the high standards that the courses and their prospective employers required.

Results
Over 90% of candidates that completed the course, have found employment within the Energy Industry. This has helped invest Government funding wisely and has proven to get results on a limited budget.
