S-Cape

Our S-CAPE course covers the theoretical and practical use of the S-CAPE offshore evacuation system to comply with offshore operators requirements in the North Sea.

S-Cape forms part of the mandatory safety qualification requirements of almost every offshore operator in the Southern North Sea (SNS) sector.

Course Content:

  • Training is delivered using the Offshore S-Cape MK VI
  • Candidates will understand the purpose and limitations of the equipment.
  • Practical training is conducted at high level (6m) to give candidates the realism of being fully suspended. Candidates will also learn how to properly control descent.

 

Assessment of Course:

Candidates will be assessed through both observation of practical skills and a written assessment. Upon successful completion of the course a certificate will be provided to the candidate and will be valid for one year.

 

Delegate Requirements:

Courses are of a strenuous nature; therefore a good level of fitness is advised. Delegates must be medically fit. Candidates attending this course must have a good understanding of verbal and written English language.  We can accommodate any delegate with special needs providing we are advised at time of booking
