Our PPE Inspection Competent Person course follows on learning from our PPE Inspection User course. This advanced course further involves theoretical learning of record keeping, product marking and the cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Further practical elements of equipment marking for ropes and hardware, equipment maintenance, and completion of inspection report forms will also be required. This course provides candidates with the required knowledge to carry out category three PPE inspection in accordance with the ‘competent person’ under Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulation (LOLER) and PPE regulations.

Assessment of Course:
Candidates will be assessed through both practical and written assessment. Upon successful completion of the course a certificate will be provided to the candidate and will be valid for three years.
Delegate Requirements:
A basic understanding of PPE is required. Delegates attending this course must have a good understanding of verbal and written English language. We can accommodate any delegates with special needs providing we are advised at time of booking.
