In order to conform to current legislation as detailed in the Electricity at Work Regulations, all portable equipment must be tested at defined intervals according to its use: Outside appliances 1-3 months and inside appliances 6-48 months. 3sun Academy’s Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) course is a practical training course that will enable you to test the portable electrical equipment in your company to the requirements of the IET Code of Practice. Delegates will receive a certificate of competence upon successful completion of a practical assessment.

Assessment of Course
Successful delegates will be awarded a 3sun Group certificate after completing an assessment paper and practical test. Certificates will be sent to the employer within 10 working days of course taking place.
Delegates will be issued with a certificate for the PAT machine training for which the training was given on. These certificates are not transferrable to new machined, further training will be needed.
Delegate Requirements:
Delegates attending this course must have a good understanding of verbal and written English language. We can accommodate any delegates with special needs providing we are advised at time of booking.
