3sun Group Recognised For International Success

3sun Group, specialist provider of products and services to the global energy industry, has secured a Top 20 position on The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table, in acknowledgment of its continued global growth.

The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 publishes an annual league table ranking Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing international sales compounded over a two-year period. Placed at 20th position, 3sun Group is a new entrant to the table and the East of England’s highest ranking company, due to an impressive 103% increase in international sales over the two years.

Global expansion has been a key focus for 3sun Group, growing rapidly over the past eight years to now employ more than 300 people across six divisions, earning a global reputation for resolving some of the key energy engineering challenges facing the energy sector.

Commenting on the achievement, 3sun Group CEO Graham Hacon said: “I’m delighted that we have been recognised for our sustained international growth. It’s a huge accomplishment for 3sun Group to secure a position on the International Track 200 league table and testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team.

“Our European expansion in Denmark attests to this dedication and we look forward to further enhancing and increasing our international footprint in key global regions, allowing us to advance our strategic growth plans.

The companies ranked in this year’s league table will come together at a prestigious awards dinner on Tuesday 22 September at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London, which will celebrate the companies’ significant international success.

3sun Group was also named on The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 Ones To Watch in 2014 and has a network of global bases in Great Yarmouth, Aberdeenshire, Denmark and Norway. Its recent acquisition of AID Industrial marked a successful first quarter of the year for the Group, following major contract wins and a £10million investment from the Business Growth Fund.
